A little about me
I’m Keivan Mirzaei. I enjoy thinking about mathematics and sharing interesting problems.
This website began as a place to introduce mathematical problems to students and fellow enthusiasts. It is also a home for code, experiments, and ideas I want to come back to.
My interests include probability theory, stochastic analysis, mathematical finance, differential equations, mathematical analysis, and machine learning. You can find my education and teaching experience in my curriculum vitae.
A question to start with
Suppose every point in the plane is colored either red or green. Show that one of these colors contains pairs of points at every possible distance.
Or try this: at every party with at least two people, there are always two people with the same number of friends present. Why?
